The White Boy has gotten quite good at finding my notes to myself and editing them as he sees fit. It started off with him sneakily making hidden doodles in my notebook and has now escalated to outright graffiti. He doesn’t even bother to hide the evidence but rather comes running to show me his clever artwork with a “look what I did!” expression on his face. Oh yes, he’s quite proud of his cleverness.

The worst part is when he later catches me giggling at his creativity, which completely nullifies any scolding that I’d previously delivered. I guess I’m just a big softy when it comes to the antics of The White Boy.

Monkey’s reaction was pretty much identical to mine after the White Boy sent this video to me months ago. I sat quietly and patiently watched all 2 mins and 41 seconds of this video and as Mr. Khil was hitting his final note, my brain exploded.

Apparently I just don’t have the mental capacity to fully appreciate the awesomeness and I’m ok with that. The White Boy, on the other hand, stopped using words for a few days and proceeded to communicate only in the language of Trololo.

To all you men out there who think this is a fantastic idea: If you value your relationship, don’t try this at home.

If you were to wake up 100 years after being cryogenically frozen, I’m pretty sure updating yourself on the “current events” would be nearly impossible.

You’ll turn on the news and hear about a farmer from a small town who has grown the worlds largest carrot. Flipping through the dateline specials, you’ll sit through an hour-long program about another superstar who couldn’t keep it in their pants or a mom who gave birth to a goat.

I love those shows where people are randomly quizzed on the street about the name of our current vice president. It both amuses and saddens me when most of them say “Al Gore”. I think the best one I’ve ever heard was the answer to the question “what was the date of the 9/11 attacks” is “Uh, sometime in November?” It’s true. See for yourself. This one is also quite amusing and I’d put money on it actually happening. Though if you’re a Mitch Hedberg fan, you’ll know how to react appropriately.

I’ve decided that I’m not going to comment on how long it’s been since I’ve posted a comic for the sole reason of: I don’t wanna.

The semester is winding down, which means my # of responsibilities is going to decrease in the very near future. Hells yes. Monkey and The White Boy have been doing well. The White Boy has been exhaustively trying to increase his ridiculous antics because he thinks I’m not inspired enough to draw more comics. Monkey has been taking some time to learn more about the world outside of a research animal facility. He’s become quite taken with American Idol, Peacocks, and failblog (in no particular order).

I don’t really mind him exploring American pop culture, but The White Boy has recently taught him the phrase “that’s what she said”. He hasn’t quite grasped the context in which to use this saying, so he just blurts it out after the end of someones sentence and proceeds to roll around on the floor laughing.

He has a lot to learn.

Ok. It’s been a LONG time. Things are finally winding down a bit, so I plan to start weekly comic postings again.

I’d like to thank Monkey for taking over this weeks comic for me. While his methods may be a bit…unconventional…he was much too excited about his comic for me to offer any criticism.  I have to admit, his drawing abilities surprised me. I was honestly expecting a banana smashed on a piece of paper. Maybe I’ll let him do another one in the future.

The White Boy has also been antsy with anticipation. I think he’s getting to the point where he’s forcing inspiration with silly antics. The other day he strapped on the bear feet and an sported an extra loud hawaiian shirt for me. Now if that’s not love, I don’t know what is.

I thought this comic was appropriate considering that it has started snowing again. My battle with the snow will probably never end.

I’m decreasing comic postings to one per week until I have more time to pick up the drawing pace. I’m bummed I can’t post more during the week, especially because the White Boy bought me the Bamboo drawing tablet for Christmas. I’m sure things will pick up eventually.

Hello Everyone.

Many apologies for the recent lack of comics, things have been hectic. I know Biff and Monkey are pretty annoyed that they haven’t been increasing their fan numbers lately. I can’t imagine making enemies with an orange lab monkey and an aggressive wolverine will end well for me.

I’m still trying to figure out a normal comic’ing routine, so bear with me. Thanks to those of you who are stopping by throughout the week to check for new comics.  Hopefully your next visit will bring you a happy comic-y surprise.

In comic-related news: The snow has not stopped. It is not beautiful. It is still cold. I am sad panda. The end.

Ok, so MyWhiteBoy.com has been collecting a little dust.  I’m sorry!

The beginning of the new year has been a bit busy for me, but I promise to start comic’ing again soon.  I’ve actually been thinking about changing the posting days, but I haven’t gotten into my groove yet, so no saying when that’ll start.

I hope everyone’s holidays were fun and festive.  2010 should be an exciting year! Actually, there’s absolutely no reason why 2010 should be any more exciting than 2009, but that’s what everyone always says, right? It must be wishful thinking.

Is it just me or is there something hilarious about animals in clothes?

Monkeys in santa hats are absolutely no exception. I’ll admit that I feel sorry for the little puppies walking around on the street wearing horrible doggy Christmas sweaters and hats, but there is a certain enjoyment gained from it. I think it’s because I’m imagining what they would be saying if they could talk.
