White Boy [ˈwīt ˈbȯi] – noun – 1. a male member of a group or race characterized by light pigmentation of the skin. 2. An endearing male who is clueless when it comes to women and who thinks chopsticks are oversized toothpicks.
Hello. My name is Kristine, I’m from Hawaii, and I’ve had my white boy for almost 3 years.
In the early stages of our relationship I learned he:
1. had never eaten sushi and can’t use chopsticks.
2. assumed everyone in Hawaii knew how to hula and surf.
3. devoted the entirety of his fall Saturdays to Michigan Football.
4. did not have a passport.
5. enjoyed eating cheap Chinese food from Lucky Kitchen.
While I’ll admit that he was able to absorb some culture relatively quickly, he still has a lot to learn. Our adventures in “instilling the white boy with culture” are generally amusing and sometimes quite frustrating.
